PEOPLE AGAINST ARBITRARY ARRESTS (PAAA)
People Against Arbitrary Arrest (PAAA) is a non-profit initiative and criminal justice policy think tank committed to protecting individual liberty and strengthening the rule of law. We focus on addressing the misuse of criminal law processes that result in wrongful implication, unnecessary arrests, and prolonged judicial custody without legal justification. PAAA works at the intersection of law, policy, and public awareness to ensure that the criminal justice system remains fair, accountable, and aligned with constitutional principles.
PAAA conducts research on criminal justice reforms, highlights misuse of law, and provides pro bono legal aid to protect rights of individuals facing wrongful arrest and detention.
